It's a great day for hockey in Pittsburgh today as the Penguins (6-1-0) take on the Vancouver Canucks (5-3-0) for an afternoon game. The Pens' last encounter with the Canucks was in the 2011-12 season opener that resulted in a Pens shootout win.
Today, both teams are coming off wins and the Canucks have a slighty better offense than Fleury has seen yet. Canucks' Henrik Sedin has a goal and 3 assists on a 3-game point streak and Higgins has goals in consecutive games.
But never fear, our captain now has 6 goals and 8 assists to give him the lead of the league with 14 points. Malkin, Dupuis, and Kunitz have all been hot offensively as well.
Forward Chris Conner was recalled from @WBSPenguins. He was tied for WBS team lead in both goals and points (per @penguins).
