Since we aren't stuck up like a certain Pittsburgh sports team, we are giving the Pirates some love here.  Right now the only thing that should matter in this city is the baseball game that is going down at PNC Park tonight.  Not how bad the Steelers suck and even though we are a Penguins blog they are taking a back seat for the time being.  It's the Pirates turn to finally be in the spotlight.  The Pirates have made this summer suck a lot less by finally getting the .500 monkey off their back.  Not only did they finally finish over .500 they had 94 wins.  94.  This is a team that not too many years ago lost over 100 games and tonight is hosting the first playoff game in PNC Park history.  Pirates players have been calling for a Blackout since Sunday so if you are going to the game wear black.  And don't be "that guy" and wear a Penguins or Steelers shirt.  They have absolutely nothing to do with tonight.  This is the Pirates time.  If you go to the game and see someone wearing a Steelers or Penguins shirt kick them square in the nads.  If you don't have a black Pirates shirt go to Wal-Mart or one of the vendors on the Clemente bridge and buy one for cheap.  If you are going to the game we are pretty sure you can afford a cheap black shirt.  Also, if you are going to the game....Bring the noise.  Make that place shake so much the 40 ft rubber duck can feel it.
