The 7-1 Penguins are facing the 7-1 Colorado Avalanche in Pittsburgh. Colorado is undefeated on the road and the Pens are undefeated at home so tonight's game is shaping up to be a very entertaining one. Their last match-up was on March 3rd, 2012, resulting in a Penguins 5-1 win. (As seen below)
One of the big story lines for tonight will be Crosby versus MacKinnon, deemed the "Cole Harbour Battle". Both players were 1st overall draft picks (8 years apart) and this will be the first match-up between the two.
Also, for the second consecutive week, Sidney Crosby was named an NHL Star of the week as the "Second Star". He now leads the NHL with 17 points off of 7 goals and 10 assists.
