In 62 Days....

Since August is a boring time for hockey blogging, we decided to run a little mini series here at Heyyyyy Fannnssss. We are going to Countdown every day until Opening Night against the Ducks in a unique way that we don't think anyone has ever done.

Each day, we will give you a list of Penguins who have worn that random number (no one wore 62 for the Penguins ever so we're using today as an introductory post). After we type the list of players, we are going to pick our favorite one (probably a degenerate from the X Generation) and write a little summary about where they are now and contributions and random facts that we probably make up by ourselves.

Since this is starting with 62 days until Opening Night, we're gonna use this post to look back at an honorable mention list from 99-63. We're not gonna post the greats like Lemieux and Jagr because, well duh.
