Gameday. Game 4. Pens at Rangers.

Madison Square Garden. 7:30 pm. NBCSN.

Game 4 is probably the biggest game of this series. The Penguins can take a commanding 3-1 series lead with a win and could possibly turn this into a short series or the Rangers can tie it and make it a best of 3 going back to Pittsburgh and turn it into a long series. Look for the Rangers to put out one of their best efforts into this game. In the 2nd Round, the team who scores first has won all 11 games so far so as we all know how important the first goal is. Marc-Andre Fleury will look to extend his 120 minute playoff shutout streak in this game and the Rangers are 0 for their last 33 on the power play. If the Penguins put together the effort they have the last few games, they should have a pretty good chance to win this game.

Notes:
  • Marc-Andre Fleury is 3rd in Save Percentage in the Playoffs and only .04% behind Corey Crawford for 2nd.
  • Evgeni Malkin has quietly crept into 4th in the Postseason in Points with 10.
  • Jussi Jokinen is tied for 2nd with 5 goals and Paul Martin is tied for 3rd with 8 assists.
  • Sidney Crosby now has 7 points in the playoffs and one would think he's only gonna score more frequently.
  • Because of the Ineptitude of the Rangers Power Play, the Penguins have now killed 82.5% of Penalties so far in 9 playoff games.
  • The Rangers are only scoring 2.20 goals per game so far through 10 playoff games
  • The Penguins are 6-0 in Regulation and 0-3 in Overtime this Postseason.
Do It.

Go Pens.
