HF Boards - Various Threads

This week, we're gonna change things up a little bit.

There are a couple different threads with some really retarded trade proposals in them, so we're gonna combine this post to make fun of all of them.

So lets get the ball rolling.

First trade proposal is from a thread called Perry to Pittsburgh (If he doesn't re-sign with the Ducks)

Chris Kunitz, Olli Maatta, 1st

Corey Perry













First of all, Chris Kunitz is 3rd in the NHL in points right now.  Second, what is Corey Perry doing this year, plus the Ducks are 2nd in the Western Conference right now, why would they trade Corey Perry.  Third, WHY WOULD YOU TRADE CHRIS KUNITZ?!?!

Oh now someone else is gonna trade Kunitz, Kennedy, Despres, Maatta, AND a 1st for Corey Perry

Slight overpayment??

Then the jobber who started this thread tried to make sense of trading Kunitz by saying that Kunitz would represent the now for Anaheim, Maatta and the 1st represent the future and that Kunitz is the best thing that Anaheim will get for a UFA as good as Corey Perry......Yawn

Once again, YOU DON'T TRADE CHRIS KUNITZ, especially for an Unrestricted Free Agent!!!

Oh and then the same guy said "Kunitz has put up 95 points in his last 111 games, so he doesn't fit your 'old forward' quota"

So idiot, why would you trade a player that has scored 95 point in his last 111 games, because Kunitz is really the problem with the Pens.

People like him need to have their fan card taken away, also their internet

So that's it for the Perry to Pittsburgh talk, so we're moving on.

Another Iginla to the Pens thread....oh great.

First trade offer to start this off is 

Calgary gets:  Beau Bennett and 1st

Pittsburgh gets:  Jarome Iginla

So trade the best young prospect for a 35 year old, who is a Free Agent at the end of the year.

Because that makes sense....

Some other guy suggests the following:

Tyler Kennedy, Olli Maatta, 2013 1st

Jarome Iginla

No idea really what to think, probably a decent deal for the Pens, can't really make fun of it. I mean, this guy is in it.

And ahhh shit, here we go again....

Here, I'll just post the next trade and I'll let you decide.  No comments before are truly necessary.

Jarome Iginla and Curtis Glencross

Yep. I wanna go kick an animal after reading that.

Well after that stupid trade proposal, the Iginla thread gets boring.

So now we're going to go inside the depths of the Columbus Blue Jackets and about how Rossi broke the story that the Pens are interested in Jack Johnson.  There apparently were a couple Blue Jackets scouts at the CEC last night.

First trade offer for Jack Johnson is:

Matt Niskanen, Tyler Kennedy, 1st

Jack Johnson, RJ Umberger

Not really sure how Umberger and Johnson are worth Niskanen, Kennedy, and a 1st.  Umberger wouldn't be a bad fit in the Top 6, and Jack Johnson is a decent defenseman.  Doubt Columbus wants Tyler Kennedy, they need to keep the glass behind the nets.  Also Niskanen hasn't been bad this year.   Pretty sure this was by a Blue Jackets fan, if they even exist.

And honestly, this thread was boring, so I'm stopping that thread now.

And it wouldn't be a day on the HF Boards without a Leafs-Pens trade proposal.

I'm just gonna leave this out there.

Kris Letang

Jake Gardiner or Phil Kessel, Nikolai Kulemin, and 2013 2nd OR more

Main reason for this is, the Leafs fan heard that the Pens might be interested in trading Letang because of the Rossi article.

Plus that's no where near good enough for Letang, c'mon man.

Letang does have his issues, but he can change a game in a heartbeat.

Plus I wanna see more of this ^

Also people are worried about re-signing Malkin and Letang with the cap coming down, so what does Kessel, Kulemin, and Gardiner do to the cap?

Uhhhh.....Iggy to the Pens, for the millionth time, is scary.  Tyler Kennedy can go, but I don't think Iggy is worth Pouilot or Jeffrey, and I don't know anything about Glencross and Babchuk other than I've heard of their names before.

Nothing exciting about this one, but there is a Value of: Joe Vitale thread.

Orpik, Niskanen, Kennedy and Vokoun Yes I know Vokoun has a NTC, but just fire away, I want to hear your offers. We want a top 6 winger and a good d-man comming or way. Also availble our picks 2-7. If you pen fans wonder why I want to trade Orpik - he seems to be on the wrong side of his carrear and I would love to get value from him, if possible. Niskanen...I guess you all know that we are better without him, just trade him, I take everything at this point. Vokoun: he has done nothing and gets paid 2M. There are better options on the marked I guess, at least in the summer. I would love to trade for Greiss. Kennedy may stay may go, I don't care, but if you want him, just offer us something. He could also be a throw in. My thoughts: Orpik for Wheeler Niskanen for Fistric Vokoun for a 5th Greiss for a 3rd and the 5th what do you guys think?

Bro, calm down.

Pretty sure Niskanen is worth more than ANYTHING, same with Vokoun, and honestly, even Kennedy is probably worth more than anything (yes I just typed that)
