Some how we almost forgot about this.
6 years ago on this day the future of the team we love was decided. It had looked less and less likely the Pens would be staying in Pittsburgh up until this day. It all could have been avoided and decided earlier but Jerome Bettis sucks. If you have no idea what we are talking about click HERE. Things looked bleak until the morning of March 13th 2007. The new broke early that morning that the Pens would be staying where they belonged. Maybe you ran around your house in joy, maybe you just sat and stared and said "holy shit", maybe you told Jerome Bettis to eat a dick. Whatever you did once you heard the news is acceptable, especially after what we had to endure for the months prior. What a crowd in that arena that night. Too bad Consol will never get like that. The Pens beat the Sabres that night in a shootout 5-4. Thank again Mario.
