GAMEDAY 28. MASH vs Flames

7:00 p.m. Corporate Entitlement Country Club.  ROOT Sports.  105.9 The X

It's December 12th and the Penguins enter this game with a roster that looks more like a MASH unit than a hockey team.  While it looks like the Penguins will be getting Patric Hornqvist and Kris Letang back, they will be without captain Sidney Crosby for the next 2 games for precautionary reasons because he showed up to the rink today and his face looked like Quagmire from Family Guy.  All these injuries and illnesses are happening to the Penguins star players and Craig Adams and Zach Sill are perfectly fine.  Ok hockey Gods.  That's enough.  Tonight also marks the return of horrible, horrible defenseman Deryk Engelland to Pittsburgh/  Engelland was given some ridiculous sum of money to head north of the border this season.  If there is a video tribute we make drink bleach....or purposely get the mumps since that's all the rage all of a sudden.

#GameNotes
  • Looking at the Flames lines its hard to believe they are 17-11-2
  • No word on if Dan Bylsma will be sitting behind the Flames bench in a Penguins Deryk Engelland jersey with a sign that says "I miss you".
  • Pens coach Mike Johnston says that Crosby doesn't have the mumps.  He will still miss tonight's games as a precaution.

Do it

Go Pens
