RECAP. Without a Pulse. Pens LOSE

Going into last night you had that feeling this might finally be the night the Pens turned it around.  James Neal wasn't as hurt as originally reported and Secret Service Craig Adams wasn't dead either and was in the lineup as well.  But of course the Pens played without a pulse again and would fall to the Senators 5-1.  The highlight of this game was probably some fan behind me yelling "Go listen to Nickleback" after Spezza made it 3-0.  Another Pens game, another game played without a pulse.  Being realistic here its incredibly hard watching this team play hockey right now.  A team with the talent they have in the lineup should not be playing as bad as they are.  Yes they are missing Sidney Crosby.  Yes they are missing Kris Letang.  But they do have Evgeni Malkin, Chris Kunitz, James Neal, a solid defense and a goalie who could win the vezina every year.  This team is showing absolutely no heart right now.  But saying that apparently makes us bad fans because we aren't allowed to be realistic.  Can't wait to see what the fan police have to say about this.

Pens head to Washington tonight.  Wonderful.

Go Pens
