This Date in Jagr History: February 9, 2000

The Penguins finished off a 3 game Canadian road trip with a brutal 5-0 loss to @rammer34's favorite team, the Vancouver Canucks. Much like Rammer and NHL 15, the game was just a steaming pile of shit. The Pens did win the first two games of the road trip and got 4 out of a possible 6 points. The reason the Pens didn't get six points on the road trip is pretty clear.

Yep. Guarantee that if Double J is a Penguin the Pens sweep the road trip outscoring opponents 68-0. It's quite possible the Pens would've found a way to get 9 points on the 3 game road trip. 6 points for 3 wins and 3 additional points for Double J being Double J. Actually, that's not a terrible idea. The Double J Point would still be better than the overtime loss point.

Jagr will be in New Jersey tonight playing against the Edmonton Oilers. He will be looking to extend his point streak, which is currently at 4 games. Don't forget to send your Jagr Photoshops to zjm1001@sru.edu for the 2015 #BringHomeDoubleJ Photoshop Expo.

IceTime (via Penguins Chronicles)

Mellon Arena, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Atlanta Thrashers - 2
Pittsburgh Penguins - 5

The Thrashers were not very good at this point and they were coming into the game riding a 7 game losing streak. The Penguins who were on a 4 game winning streak kept on rolling with a 5-2 win. Jagr registered 2 assists and 2 PIMs in the game. He led all players in the game with 6 shots on goal. Double J also led all players with an insane 27:33 of time on ice.

If you have free time, check out the website that is linked with the IceTime. There is unlimited programs on that site. Pretty unreal to look back and see some of those covers.
