Gameday 59: Penguins at Blues EDIT: Line changes

The Penguins are trying to get over the blues as they enter St. Louis Saturday night to face the Blues. *I'm lighting myself on fire for even typing that*. The Blues are the 2nd best team in the Western Conference (38-16-4, 80 points). The Blues beat Boston 5-1 last night so expect Brian Elliot in net tonight (Jake Allen played last night). Thomas Greiss is in net for the Penguins tonight. The trade deadline is a 9 days away, so #JagrWatch is slowly coming to an end. If you haven't checked it out yet, make sure you check out our Jagr Photoshop Expo. Since the Penguins play Florida tomorrow and Florida is only 9 points behind them (1 behind Boston) Florida is in Ottawa tonight.

#GameNotes:
  • The Penguins have scored 3 goals in their last 3 games (that's total goals, not per game)
  • The Penguins power play hasn't scored since Vietnam
  • Did you know Marcel Goc used to be a Penguin and Max Lapierre used to be a Blue?
  • Thomas Greiss is looking to bounce back from his last start.
  • Crosby has been held pointless 24 times this season
  • Hope these were enough stats for certain people on a certain facebook page.

Do It.

Go Pens.
