This Date in Jagr History: February 5, 1999

#JagrWatch has gone from a crawl to an absolute standstill. There has been nothing going on since Mark Madden started the original rumors. Jagr plays tomorrow night in New Jersey against the Maple Leafs so there's that. Don't forget to send your Photoshops in for the 2015 #BringHomeDoubleJ Photoshop Expo. February 5, 1999:

Mellon Arena, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 

Florida Panthers - 0 
Pittsburgh Penguins - 3

In 29:26 time on ice Double J scored 2 goals and assisted on a goal by Martin Sonnenberg in this win over the Florida Panthers. Jagr opened the scoring for the Penguins and therefore was credited with the game winning goal. Jagr was tied with Stu Barnes for the most shots on goal for the Penguins with 5. The Penguins were on a 5 game winning streak entering this game and kept on rolling.
