So this week, someone submitted a trade between the Flyers and Penguins. If that sentence doesn't make you vomit, then you have a stronger stomach than you should probably have.
The Penguins and Flyers have only made 11 total trades between each other since 1967, so you know they're rare.
Only one or two of those trades had meaningful players involved (Recchi + for Tocchett + in 1992 and nothing from Philly for Kevin Stevens)
And we ALL know what GREAT things come from Philadelphia.
I mean they employ the best player in the world Clode.
Nice Nickelback gun...
The Philadelphia media is also the best! Remember this from the playoffs?
So enough bringing up stupid shit from Philly, and let's see how stupid this trade proposal will probably be....Dear God.
So this thread opens up with the following trade proposal.
Simon Despres and a 2nd
Wayne Simmonds
Those last two pictures pretty much sums up this.
Lets read the logic behind this trade.

Philly-Pitt trade?
|
Ummm...I could name 3 other plays who could add grit that don't wear Orange and probably wouldn't cost one of the best defensemen for the Pens this year.
Wow.
So of course when you have a Penguins-Flyers proposal on HF Boards, you obviously have chirping and trolling.

LOL, Simmonds a 30 goal scorer
Look no disrespect to Wayne Simmonds, because he's that one player that just pisses everyone off when you play against him, but a 30 goal scorer?!?! No wonder they still think Girwho is the best in the world

Dude why?!?! Simmonds is a pain in the ass, and a player like that would be perfect for the Pens but WHY?!?!?
I hate the internet sometimes.

So to sum up what flyershockey said, they don't see Despres as being anything more than a bottom D pairing, so this dude decided to troll.
Good comment by Zbynek, Despres probably has been overall third best defenseman for the Pens this year. Simmonds hasn't done shit other than troll.
Then after this post, a few Penguin fans about firing Bylsma or some shit.
YAWN.
But then someone trys to light a flame up the Flyers assholes

Although, I can't argue with this in the fact that Simmonds is overrated, Pascal Dupuis > Wayne Simmonds IMO.
Also, the only reason I trade for Voracek, is to trade him to Switzerland or some shit to stop him from being a Penguin Killer.
LOL then some Flyer jobber decides to comment on the post above ^

LOL @ Neal and Kunitz being overrated
Pretty sure they both have more points than Girwho.
Chris Kunitz - 18 goals 21 assists -- 39 points (2nd in NHL)
James Neal - 17 goals 12 assists -- 29 points (11th in NHL)
Fraude Girwho - 8 goals 18 assists -- 26 points (23rd in NHL) (BEST IN WORLD)
Just like that, this thread was shut down before it got nasty. Probably good call.
Before we close, there was another thread titled Matt Niskanen to Toronto
Trade looked like every other Pens-Leafs trade
Matt Niskanen
Nikolai Kulemin
BORING
In a couple of days, we're gonna investigate a thread titled WPG/PIT that includes Simon Despres
But remember, The Flyers and the Titanic have two things in common, they're both sitting at the bottom of the Atlantic.
And also remember this...
HAHAHAHA 1975!!!!
Go Internet.
Go Pens.
