Playing Winnipeg in Winnipeg is always a huge task. The crowds there are crazy, and it is an intimidating place to play, unlike CEC. Then you realize the team is basically the reincarnated Thrashers with a few bigger names, and all of the sudden it doesn't seem so bad. Although, the Pens have not fared too well against the Jets. Hope that changes tonight.
Notes:
Eric Tangradi makes his Winnipeg debut tonight against his old team.
The Senators owner is not a fan of Matt Cooke.
Vokoun will start in net tonight.
Beau Bennett will make his NHL debut tonight on a line with Tyler Kennedy and Brandon Sutter. Poor guy has to play with TK.
