Consol Energy Center - 7PM
TV: ROOT Sports
Radio: 105.9 The X
Tonight the Pens welcome the New York Islanders to Pittsburgh for the first game of a home and home series. The rivalry between the Islanders and the Penguins has really heated up over the past couple seasons since the Islanders decided to stop being terrible. A home and home between the two top teams in the Metro will definitely get that bad blood flowing again. Tonight is also the first game since the news about Dupuis broke. Hopefully Consol shows Dupuis on the video board at some point so the Consol crowd actually makes some noise.

Notes/Thoughts:
- Marc-Andre Fleury is in net and going for win number 300.
- The Penguins (13-3-1) and the Islanders (12-6-0) are the first and second place teams in the Metro.
- The Pens beat the Islanders 3-1 earlier in the season. Steve Downie ended lives that night.
Clean hit IMO
- Apparently Cal Clutterbuck took time off from being irrelevant and has guaranteed that Islanders will sweep the Penguins this weekend.
- Pens game, WPIAL Football Championship games at Heinz Field, and Light Up Night tonight in Pittsburgh. God bless whoever is going downtown at all tonight.
Go Pens
