HF Boards - Random Threads

We're back. It's been awhile since we've dove into the internet cesspool that is the website, HF Boards. We've been navigating through the biggest degenerates for awhile, but the internet didn't give us much to work with. We have now found some quality shit and we're about to dissect that shit to make fun of it.

The first post is some Ducks fan thinking Letang for Johnny Whitehall is a fair deal.

Uhhhhhh...... I guess the only logic behind that is the fact that they're Leafs fans so they feel like they can have whatever they want. Hockey Mecca I guess. The worst part of this thread, Pens fans are actually saying they would trade Maatta for JVR. I love JVR and he'd be a perfect fit on the Penguins, but no way in hell am I even considering Olli Maatta for him. Noooooope. (Here's the link if you wanna witness the disaster yourself JVR)

So essentially, the Penguins are trading Paul Martin and a first for Jiri Tlusty, who is a UFA in July. Nooooooooope. Doesn't even make sense, although that might be all you could get if you do in fact try to trade Paul Martin, but there's no way in hell the Pens should deal a 1st for Jiri freaking Tlusty. No thanks. (Ducks-Canes-Pens)

And now to close this out, we found a thread that a Pens fan wanted to field offers to get a winger for Kris Letang...

Oilers fan offered this:

Jeff Petry




Eberle is ideal for the Penguins, but not worth Kris Letang. Jeff Petry sucks and Marincin would be the like #7 defenseman in Pittsburgh at best. Not sure why this is even remotely considered to be fair.
