The Penguins look to stay undefeated (lol) as they take on the Toronto Maple Leafs tonight at the Air Canada Center. The Penguins are coming off a 6-4 win against Corey Perry and the Anaheim Ducks. The new Pens system looks fantastic with Johnston running it but minor adjustments need to be made. The biggest one being the penalty kill as Anaheim capitalized on three out of their five power-play opportunities. Either way, tonight is the Penguins road opener and another first of the season.
The lines for tonight are as follows:
Kunitz-Crosby-Hornqvist
Dupuis-Sutter-Malkin
Comeau-Goc-Downie
Sill-Spaling-Adams
Erhoff-Letang
Maatta-Martin
Scuderi-Despres
Fleury

JVR-Bozak-Kessel
Lupul-Kadri-Kozun
Komarov-Santorelli-Clarkson
Winnik-Holland-Panik
Phaneuf-Robidas
Franson-Polak
Gardiner-Rielly
Bernier
News and Notes
- Look for Hornqvist to get down and dirty in front of the net again
- Several players coming off career highs in points including Oli Maatta (3) and Pascal Dupuis (tying his record set 10 years ago with 4)
- Pittsburgh is 20-18-8 all-time in road openers
- Penguins were 4/9 on the powerplay against the Leafs last season
- Look for Brandon Sutter to keep playing good hockey and putting up shorties
- Look for Phil Kessel to be a fat lard with a lumberjack like stick tonight against Zach Sill
