Well Mike Yeo and the Minnesota Wild came to Pittsburgh last night hoping to get their first win in six games, however the Penguins turned it into a stick-time session at Blade Runners Ice Complex halfway through the second. The Penguins applied a lot of pressure, won battles to the puck, got to the net and overall dominated the Minnesota Wild. Zach Sill got his first NHL point ever on a Marcel Goc goal to open the game, so I mean I wish we could congratulate him but he was well overdue and it was about damn time. Lastly, the Penguins lost Steve Downie in this game to an unreal elbow by 'good guy' Ryan Suter. It was a pretty blatant elbow and Suter is scheduled to have a hearing with the NHL so let's hope the worst for him.
Because seven goals were scored by the Penguins last night, instead of giving an in-depth recap or smart ass comments as to how they happened or what happened we're gonna leave you with the GIFS. These GIFS are from Tumblr and the Penguins website. The Pens dominated last night and we did not feel like writing it all out, so here ya go:
Marcel Goc and Zach Sill do a thing - 1
